Today I want to feature a lovely family photo session we had in Rotterdam last month.
Caroline’s little daughter Noor is four years old. It is a beautiful age and a milestone in Noor’s life: she recently went to school. Caroline wanted to preserve this time of Noor’s childhood and of the family together in authentic and timeless photographs.
It is my mission to help families build their visual legacy through photography and I it was joy to do it for this beautiful family.
You know Dutch winters often full of gloomy rainy days. We had taken the risk of going to a park on a grey and rather dark morning knowing it could start raining any moment. We had no energising sunshine, no beautiful light, but our reportage went out perfect, and the photos show not the boring weather but a plenty of wonderful moments. Secret? Love, warmth and fun within this family.
Small kids can be slow and sleepy on such grey days but with Noor you needed no sunshine: she created it herself! What a tender and joyful little person she is!
We walked in the Park at the Euromast and were even invited to look into the beautiful Heerenhuys mansion where we also made some special portraits.
Just a few minutes after we finished our session it started to rain heavily but it did not matter any more because we had so many fun moments captured! There are wall portraits to fill the house with the happiness and there is a beautiful album telling the story of the family through a day in the life reportage.
Thank you, dear Noor, Caroline and Steven!
